Lofty endeavors, such as divine mystical understanding, selfless service to mankind, or subtle life lessons of any kind are rarely if ever an attraction at the State Fair.
The prevailing venue is considerably more mindless consisting of an assortment of rickety thrill-rides, rigged gambling booths, greasy foods, and lots and lots of hype.
The attendees or more accurately, the “mob” consists of an ambling blank faced hoard, devoid of any thought loftier than, "should I get me another one of them Elephant Ears?"
