The open door policy was a misnomer. Twenty minutes in the director's office, and not once did she divert her eyes from the pile of spreadsheets, pie charts and assorted papers that were spread out in front of her. I could have been wearing a day-glo colored Viking helmet, and still gone un-noticed.
